So the band is not just musicians but also from some filmmakers bring their ideas in the form of short visuals. The band has even signed to Fatcat Records, and has brought out this year, her first album "Other People's Problems". Who dark electronic music with rock impacts may be exactly right.

Chelsea Wolfe: Folk In Black Coat
Fragile, ghostly and depressing the pieces of CHELSEA WOLFE scurry through the music world. They seem like Lamentations, which penetrate through a thick veil Hall from another world to us across. The Los Angeles-based musician wrapped their broken, abstract, experimental, and sometimes noisigen somehow always on the lookout located folk ideas into a deep black coat, and thus creates a music that is as rough as enchanting.
The new album "Ἀποκάλυψις" means that, despite more complex arrangements and songwriting ausgefeilterem the roughness and vulnerability of his predecessor, "The Grime And The Glow" on. Overall, the album does, however, much darker and more sinister. It sounds a bit like when you heard about someone from just a vague darkness takes possession.
"Ἀποκάλυψις (Apocalypse)" was released in 2011 on LP, CD and download at the New York label Pendu Sound.
The Swoon Magazine has a very interesting veröffenticht recent short documentary, for the first time Chelsea went for an interview in front of a camera!

Dancing with the madness
Every year holidays ... return associated with a legal dance and Amüsierverbot. Dance floor tight, closed theater: it was also the case yesterday, Good Friday. The Green Youth has therefore Munich at 12 noon clock called a flash mob silent on the City Hall. Equipped with headphones, participants danced for five minutes long each, and put a mark against the church-motivated ban.
Also this year is with the Christian Good Friday, a quiet holiday in some states a general prohibition again accompanied by dance and other public events. The Young Greens in Munich and in many other cities in Germany called for dancing to protest against the so-called ban on dancing. At many places took place on Good Friday because of a silent flash mob,
danced to music from where their own headphones. "In a country where there is constitutional under applicable law, no state church, religiously motivated bans are not absolutely contemporary. We
understand it, if Christians want to mourn the death of Jesus that day and no one want to restrict the exercise of his faith. But should not this grief all citizens are forced, "said Dominik Krause, Chairman of the Young Greens Munich.
The ban on dancing is regulated by national law and is based on a statement of the Basic Law, which states that still serve the Holidays' rest from work and spiritual edification. " Similarly, the church founded the ban, it was about the spiritual welfare of the people. Jamila Schaefer, Member, Board of the Green party youth in Munich: "It's nice that church and state efforts to collect the soul of all residents of Germany. However, this should not happen by paternalism. The exercise of a Christian tradition may be imposed by the secular state to anyone.
In addition, we believe that one can not only get through grief, but also by dancing to spiritual elevation. "
The Young Greens Munich therefore calls on to the dance ban, as in many other European Staaaten eliminate, Germany's final. In an enlightened and professing belief state is definitely not a place for religiously motivated bans. "

Dan Mangan live in public works
Dan Mangan live in public works in MünchenEs are now a whole army of bearded troubadours in the long journey, carrying armed with her guitar songs by the world, maybe even a few too many. Carved But fortunately there are still so guys like Dan Mangan, who only looks, but fortunately made a completely different wood. On 04/18/2012, the Canadian indie-rock singer in the Munich public works can be seen live. In the opening act, the Canadian band is Zeus with it.
Dan Mangan is in his Canadian home already a big star. The 23-year-old is an amazing type (as they say) and now, with "O Fortune," his third album. For the first time officially available in Europe, it has become a completely different album than the already acclaimed predecessors insiders "Nice, Nice, Very Nice". "Oh Fortune" oscillates between Sturm und Drang-Rock, between beautifully opulent-applying Orchestralwerken ("About As Helpful As You Can Be Without Being Any Help At All") and all other beautiful intimate and complex quiet moments such as "Daffodil "or" Regarding Death and Dying. "
His beginnings as a classical Folk-Sänger/Songwriter Dan Mangan made his debut in "Postcards And Daydreaming," published in 2007 itself and subsequently toured almost non-stop throughout North America, Europe and Australia, took every last concert that he played was created and thus a loyal fan base. The breakthrough in Canada, came with his 2009 album "Nice, Nice, Very Nice" - with the extremely contagious and hugely successful single "Robots" - which gave him not only numerous music awards and nominations, but also prominent fans.
After years of hoof it through tiny half-empty cafes and clubs, it katalputierte the surprise success of his second album, also directly on the big stages around the world. Always in tow: his first-class backing band. "Oh Fortune" presents itself in the same album-opener "About as Helpful ..." in all its grandeur: a mishmash of faded strings developing into an elegant chamber music waltz to percussion-blown cabaret pop.
Also visit the "Dan Mangan" concert on 18.04.2012 in public works in Munich. The team from Munich Blog wishes much fun.

Angus and Julia Stone: so close, so far
Throughout last year I spent most of my days listening to "Down The Way" by Angus & Julia Stone. Listening to this album managed to transport me to a world of calm where they became palms copiers, and computers are mutated in turquoise waves. A beautiful place where everything cohesionaba, just as they did the voices of these two brothers were born in Australia.
Late / early this year announced the separation (merely) temporal duet. The reason for this change of air was used for both should focus on their solo projects. The first to throw a stone was Angus, who in just a month and a half has leaked a couple of songs ("Broken Brights' and 'Bird On The Buffalo', listen here) in which the eye-popping breath folkie vein of of Sydney. The continuity from their previous musical training is more than obvious, and that is why it is undeniable the wait for an LP in July that sound similar, but more raw hair, listened to "A Book Like This" or " Down The Way ".
The surprise we've been hearing a couple of pieces that constitute the "By The Horns" Julia Stone due out May 25. The stylistic shift is radical: rural landscapes is passed to a more urbanite acclimated for a minimalistic pop touch. The folk has been parked at the expense of a sound focused on exploiting the virtues of a voice that sounds more defined and modulated than ever.
Listening to these songs I must admit that I do not feel any anxiety to begin to know something of the upcoming album of Angus and Julia Stone. The Australians, each for their part, are carving out something to behold. The race of their lives ... and intrinsic personality! Congratulations to both: this looks really good, very good.

Foo Fighters unleashed madness in Brazil, Chile and Argentina
Others who were dropped by Lollapalooza Brazil were Foo Fighters. True, Band Of Horses please the public but the Foos with the Brazilian public had no name, the people danced, cried and sweated as if that was the last concert of their lives. And Grohl, of course, also left his skin with a direct lasted 2 hours and 45 minutes, while similar to the performance that we enjoyed last July at the Sports Palace of Madrid.
The same was true of both the Lollapalooza Chile and Argentina Quilmes Rock. As long as you enjoy the magic of this Grupazo here you have both the recording of what happened in Sao Paulo as much of it lived in River.
