Fragile, ghostly and depressing the pieces of CHELSEA WOLFE scurry through the music world. They seem like Lamentations, which penetrate through a thick veil Hall from another world to us across. The Los Angeles-based musician wrapped their broken, abstract, experimental, and sometimes noisigen somehow always on the lookout located folk ideas into a deep black coat, and thus creates a music that is as rough as enchanting.
The new album "Ἀποκάλυψις" means that, despite more complex arrangements and songwriting ausgefeilterem the roughness and vulnerability of his predecessor, "The Grime And The Glow" on. Overall, the album does, however, much darker and more sinister. It sounds a bit like when you heard about someone from just a vague darkness takes possession.
"Ἀποκάλυψις (Apocalypse)" was released in 2011 on LP, CD and download at the New York label Pendu Sound.
The Swoon Magazine has a very interesting veröffenticht recent short documentary, for the first time Chelsea went for an interview in front of a camera!
