Hollywood on the Eisbach

A student is funded livelihood by regular sperm donation. He is a drive-less contemporary, is more than pretty bad through life. After years it brings the story to the sperm donation again. From his student jobs are created over 500 children and 142 of them complain now together getting to know her father. "Starbuck" is the name of the movie - and it opened this year the 30th Munich Film Festival.
The Munich Film Festival will present 29 June to 07 July again international films in the Bavarian capital. In six cinemas in Munich 186 films from 47 countries. Melanie Griffith will guest star as an event and gives the Hollywood touch.
In the Spotlight series of the Film Festival 31 films from 20 countries with big names. The Independents Rurbik International offers independent films from around the world a stage. The competition series Cinevision Cinema Planters and come up with movie prizes for the best established and upcoming directors.
A major topic of the film festival are the new heroes that take place in the context of poverty and migration on their way. In addition to a retrospective of Todd Haynes film shows the hard work of Rainer Werner Fassbinder, who died in 2012 at 30 Time marks.
Junior Giants hero Siegfried forces Mime and blacksmith would use it for is to bring the Ring Cycle in itself, because this means endless power. However, the guarded by a giant who has been transformed into a dragon. Mime is now desperate, a sword that Siegfried can withstand forces to forge, but he does not succeed. As Siegfried sets himself on hands and forge a new from the fragments of Excalibur, the sword of his father Siegmund. To use all anger must mime his head even as security in a quiz and Wotan, the one-million-euro question to answer, unfortunately not. Wotan in the shape of the Wanderers he prophesied that Siegfried as one who is able to forge new Excalibur, will be his executioner.
siegfried1Also must relinquish Siegfried. A mixed flight Zaubertränkchen that will incapacitate, Siegfried, when he captured the ring. Siegfried kills the dragon, costs of his blood, and can at once understand the birds in the forest. One warns him of Mime, which he then promptly kills Wotan's prophecy and thus can be true. Guided by Waldvogel he finds Brünnhilde on her rock, by her father Wotan in the previous section, The Valkyrie, was exiled there. He mastered all the dangers and can win Brünnhilde for themselves. Whether they are still living or died, then we learn in the last part of Götterdämmerung.
It's always easier to agree on a, shall we say non-traditional staging involved, if you previously have no other has seen. For me it was the first Siegfried and I enjoyed the evening very well. Director Andreas Kriegenburg has closely listened to the music and then put into motion. There are lots of really great directorial ideas, such as that Siegfried the magic potion that will kill him, actually, on his sword drips and mime, it later licks, appropriate to the text as "Taste 'you my sword, nasty gossip!" (Wagner stood on alliteration) and mime to accidentally kills himself and is not slain by Siegfried. Or mime, which looks like a nerd and constantly pushes his glasses on his nose and Siegfried mimics him in this movement. There are so many incredible hidden details there that I would like to see me again. Of course, missing in this production days implications, but you need the really good?
siegfried2Die stage of Harald B. Thor is really worth seeing, for it consists largely of people. The dragon (you can see only his head) is made up of extras, like the fire to Brünnhilde's rock, or the trees in the forest. It has something playful and poetic, like all awarded to the piece. What else is on stage structures that form as Mime's smithy, including from the extras, maintained and dismantled. Really impressive and the audience thanked with loud applause for this great achievement.
Musically it was a scenic and exhilarating evening! Lance Ryan is a very young hero, but he pushed it certainly is not easy part, as if he does this every night twice. In the game he was, like all his fellow singers, very well, and brought every facet of his role (rascal, hero, lover) believable on stage. Wolfgang Ablinger-Sperrhacke as Mime was also terrific. Catherine Naglestad touched me very much and as Brunnhilde Anna Virovlansky enchanted forest as a bird. Wolfgang Koch was an impressive Alberich and Rafal Siwek was a powerful voice of the dragon, while Thomas J. Mayer and Jill Grove as Erda hikers were rather pale. The orchestra under Kent Nagano was excellent, I was assured from an authoritative source, even I can not judge the likely Sun Definitely a night I would like to repeat again.
